KVK established Custom hiring center (CHC) with financial assistance of RKVY scheme in 2019, with an objective of assist the small and marginal farmers to provide machineries at their door steps, at reasonable rates on hiring. Further, use of mechanical power has a direct bearing on the productivity of crops apart from reducing the drudgery and facilitating timeliness of agricultural operations. CHC is basically a unit of comprising a set of farm machinery, implements and equipment meant for custom hiring by farmers. We have maximum implements in all the stages of crop i.e., primary tillage, secondary tillage, weeding, pesticide spraying and harvesting. We also conducting drone demonstrations in agro-chemical spraying under the agricultural drone project by covering of around 715 ac of horticulture and agricultural crops.
